Our training will take place July 20 - August 5, 2017 (off July 28) in Manhattan. Participants join an inspiring community of educators and gain deep knowledge in yoga, mindfulness and social emotional learning. Graduates receive their 200-hour yoga teacher certification.

We offer need-based scholarships and affordable payment plans to make our training accessible to all educators. Participants can also miss up to 20 hours during the training.

  • 10:15 - 11:30: B4C’s Transformational Workshop

  • 11:30 - 12:00: Mindfulness & Meditation

  • 12:00 - 1:00: Philosophy

  • 1:00 - 2:00: Lunch

  • 2:00 - 3:00: Anatomy

  • 3:00 - 5:00: Asana (w/ practice teaching)

  • 5:00 - 5:45: Social Emotional Learning (Strategies)

  • 5:45 - 6:15: Mentorship Groups

Beyond The Training: Support for Wellness Champions

Breathe For Change is committed to ensuring that all of our graduates have the tools and support to translate what they learn into action in their personal and professional lives.

Upon completion of our 200-hour training, we support our graduates in championing well-being in their schools by providing:

  • An introductory wellness workshop for your entire school community. We want to set you up for success!

  • Weekly yoga, mindfulness and social emotional content to support school wellness classes. 

  • Monthly 'Healthy Hours' to foster community and collaboration. Healthy snacks and beverages included :)

  • Quarterly Professional Development for graduates and their school communities.
