I Breathe For Change because I believe the time is ripe to cultivate and nurture our students and educators toward a global consciousness of compassion and resiliency.
My favorite mindfulness practice is Vipassana Meditation.
Jessica Steffens is an E-RYT 200, RYT 500, RCYT who has been dedicated to her practice since 2000, and guiding students in yoga since 2006. She has a BA in Cultural Studies, a BS in Education with a Spanish Minor, a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction and is an certified Bilingual/ESL elementary teacher. She currently teaches yoga classes in Madison, Wisconsin and is an ELL teacher in the Sun Prairie School District. Her work with Breathe For Change has been ongoing since the origin of the movement. She has written curriculum, served as a lead trainer and is currently working on the Children's Trainings. She has enjoyed being a part of a change to help educators and students in wellness practices.
