Program Syllabus
This Master’s of Education program is fully online and over the course of 12-24+ months.
As an organization by educators for educators, we have designed our programs to provide educators an exceptional learning experience. As a result, our transformative trainings blend dynamic, community-oriented live Zoom sessions with self-paced on-demand content. Educators gain invaluable tools, form lasting relationships, and develop leadership skills that propel their personal and professional growth.
Our Master’s of Education Degree consists of three modules:
Mindfulness, SEL, and Yoga Teacher Training
Learning Outcomes:
- Enhance Your Well-Being: Enhance your own physical, mental, and emotional well-being by cultivating a yoga and meditation practice
- Teach Yoga & Mindfulness: Teach trauma-informed, accessible yoga classes and meditation practices to adults and young people
- Facilitate SEL Strategies: Integrate researched-based and CASEL-aligned social-emotional learning practices into your instruction
- Lead Wellness Workshops: Design and facilitate wellness workshops and professional development for your school, district, or organization
- Build Lasting Community: Join a community of educators and leaders using wellness as a vehicle for healing and social change
Transformative TEACHing and Leadership Training
Learning Outcomes:
- Be Trauma-Informed: Learn to teach using a trauma-informed lens, and integrate trauma-sensitive wellness practices into your instruction as well.
- Foster Equity & Inclusion: Embody equity-centered social-emotional learning competencies, and consequently, help your students strengthen these key life skills
- Make Learning Accessible: Support and teach students of diverse identities, backgrounds, and abilities, ultimately ensuring all members of your community thrive
- Cultivate Community: Build a deep sense of community through fostering vulnerability, co-creating learning, and catalyzing human connection
- Facilitate Healing: Facilitate experiences that rejuvenate, heal, and restore both you and your community, and ultimately foster collective well-being
- Deepen Expertise in Yoga: Expand your ability to make yoga accessible, safe, and above all, inclusive for diverse audiences and contexts
- Lead Social Change: Finally, learn to utilize yoga as a vehicle for healing and social change in your life, classrooms, and communities

Breathe For Change has become a member college of Woolf, a global collegiate Higher Education Institution based in Europe whose degrees and credits are recognized in over 50 countries, including the United States.
Being a member college of Woolf is analogous to Rockefeller College being a member college of Princeton University, or Branford College being a member college of Yale University. Through our partnership with Woolf, Breathe for Change will be able to offer accredited degrees and credits.
